We purchsed these wooden trains in bulk and are passing along the savings on to you. They are brand new, but have no formal packaging (they come wrapped in tissue paper). You'd probably just throw away the packaging anyway! Upon inspecting the trains, we have found that some have tiny imperfections in the paint that occurred during shipping. They are tiny nicks and barely visable. We just want to assure you that the trains are new and have never been played with.
