New Live-Action Video Introduces Young Machine Enthusiasts to the John Deere Fleet
This second DVD in the John Deere Series captures the fascination held by fans young and old for the machines that helped build and feed this country.
Part 2 presents an informative mix of new and vintage equipment from the company that is an American icon. The fun and fact-filled video features John Deere farming and construction equipment in action backed by the lively original music of composer and songwriter James Coffey.
Children will see farmers harvest corn, grapes, and soybeans. A delightful segment highlights Halloween pumpkins and shows what farmers do to make a city kid's visit to the farm fun. We visit the Two–Cylinder Expo, a show held every year for enthusiasts to show off their restored John Deere tractors. The 40-minute video also highlights the John Deere dozer and the Lindeman crawler tractor.
There's even a fun segment on John Deere toys (including O gauge steam and diesel freight trains delivering John Deere tractors and construction machines). And Otto, the befuddled farmer who was a big hit in part 1, returns for more zany antics.
