The Take Along Thomas line is NOT compatible with the Thomas and BRIO wooden trains. It is smaller and narrower so it does not fit on the wooden track. Take-Along Thomas has changed suppliers. Effective Jan 2010 - Take Along Thomas trains are no longer being made. Fisher-Price (Mattel) is making a replacement line called Take-N-Play. The Take-N-Play trains use the same track and connect using the same square magnets as Take-Along Trains. We will carry the full line of Take-N-Play trains. We still have a large inventory of Take-Along trains but we will not be getting anymore shipments. So if you are looking for a specific train we recommend you buy it today. Once a Take-Along train is out of stock, we have no idea when (or if) it will ever be reprinted by Take-N-Play.
